This is copied from their website:
“The Perrin Technique™ is an osteopathic approach that manually stimulates the fluid motion around the brain and spinal cord. Manipulation of the spine further aids drainage of these toxins out of the cerebrospinal fluid. Massage of the soft tissues in the head, neck, back and chest direct all the toxins out of the lymphatic system and into the blood, where they are eventually detoxified in the liver. Eventually with no poisons affecting the brain, the sympathetic nervous system begins to function correctly, and providing the patients do not overstrain themselves their symptoms should gradually improve and in time some patients become totally symptom free.”

I had never heard of it before. Sounds interesting. How much does it cost per session? How many sessions do they recommend?
I do see some potential dangers based on the description, assuming that what they describe literally happens.
1. Stimulating fluid motion around the brain and spinal cord could potentially:
- cause major herxes including brain and CNS inflammation
- cause Lyme/co to relocate to other areas that they are not already occupying
- “upset” the pathogens and cause them to act up worse and create a big symptom flare
2. Then they talk about manipulating the spine and massaging soft tissues to direct the toxins out of the lymphatic fluid and into the blood where it will “eventually” be detoxified by the liver.
- that’s a scary proposition!!!
- your body will react to the movement of toxins every time they are moved
- our livers, kidneys, etc usually are at least somewhat impaired
I definitely would not recommend this as a first line of treatment. It sounds like it has the potential to do a lot of harm with regard to moving toxins around.
If someone has already done quite a bit of detoxing in terms of sauna, massage, lymphatic drainage, colonics or coffee enemas, has good bowel and kidney function, has good liver and kidney labs, is experienced in using multiple binders, etc, then this might be a great next step.
All of what I just said is based on my subjective opinion not on anything scientific.
