Sunny40, that's why im confused I dot know what to do besides take binders. I hope that is enough to get my immune system going.
Rainycloud, I had very similar results. I wonder if majority of the normal population comes out positive for these as well
i have similar concerns
the scales on the results page indicate "percentiles"
this infers the scale refers to what percentage of the total population tested gave results that high for each toxin tested
in theory this should mean if you score in the 10 percentile range then 9 out of10 people had lower levels than this - and you can start to understand how rare or common these readings are.
that is if the labs are following conventions - and you would hope the publish somewhere how they selected the reference group
eg
-just the first 1000 people who sent them tests ?
or
-1000 members of the general public who were screened as "healthy"
typically its more like the former - due to the difficulties with the latter - but the trouble is these labs are not regulated businesses - so there is no 3rd party independent validation performed.
as such, we have no way of knowing if they are accurate or just have a random number generator in the basement
Even if you have a high result - how do we know if we are one of the people that are sensitive to it.
i agree mycotoxins are bad for us - but i would like some secondary means of confirming not only that there are undesirable levels of mycotoxins in my urine per these tests - but also some evidence (beyond nonspecific symptoms) that these are actually responsible for my condition.
