Hello all,
First off, I want to thank you all for the amazing information and advice throughout this forum. I was hoping to get some thoughts on any possible next steps I should take.

My journey began a year ago after a trip to Oregon. Immediately, I began to experience vision issues, pots, and extreme fatigue. Like many of you, I was bounced around many so called specialists. Things turned for the worst in early January when I had multiple ER visits with, what felt like, were heart issues (av block and rbbb). Obviously, the doctors were unable to find anything wrong.

This is when I decided to see a LLND where I tested positive for Lyme through igenex (igm only). She seemed to think I would be back to “normal” within a 3-4 months. Unfortunately, most if not all of my symptoms are still present. She wants me to get tested for mold, however at this point I’m not sure what I really have going on with me. I would love to hear all of your thoughts on the direction I should go. Thank you so much for all of your help.

Im in a similar boat in which you are. I had symptoms about 1.5 years ago and started treatment 3 months ago. I am no where near where I want to be but I've made improvements. 3-4 months isn't long. You should definitely test for mold as that can impair your immune system which makes it difficult for your body to fight. I would say continue antibiotics + herbs for your infections until symptom free and take binders if you test positive for mycotoxins/mold.

Did the LLND prescribe antibiotics or herbs to treat it?

Thank you very much! So far I have taken amoxicillin, doxy, tinidazole, bicillin, rifampin, and malarone. On the herbal side I have tried smilax, houttynia, teasel root, and a few other herbs I’ve shuffled in and out. Currently, I am taking doxy, malarone, and tinidazole. I tested negative for any coinfections which I know doesn’t mean much. So I’m just a little stumped on what to do next

What symptoms are you left with?
Have you had any improvement at all with treatment?
Do you react more to particular herbs?
Have you changed your diet and other lifestyle factors that might be holding you back from healing fully?

3-4 months is a really short treatment time.

So, I’ve been treating for 5 months and my current symptoms include visual snow, irregular heart beat, tremors, extremely mottled palms, and some other less bothersome symptoms. My diet has been good even before all of this mess happened. I am 24 and was very healthy prior to this. The major reaction which put me in the ER was either from a myco-zyme supplement or oil of oregano which I took prior to seeing my LLND. I wish I knew what I know now so I could have started each one at a time.
