Rash after bug bite!

I can’t seem to catch a break in life! I just felt like I was getting back on track symptom wise after being bite in the face by my puppy in April. I now have a large rash on my leg from what I believe is either a spider or mosquito bite. I am currently on Sida Acuta and Hout, should I add in anything else?! I also have an After Bite tincture from Woodland Essence that has things such as Angrogrpahis in it, which can be applied right to the rash. I’m feeling so frustrated! This world seems so toxic and I just can’t seem to catch a break! Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Does the rash feel numb HeartsinPain? Sorry to hear that this has happened. I understand your frustration.

Hearts, so sorry you are going through this but I can defiantly relate to your situation. Last year I had a bite from what I believe was a spider which caused a large red round rash. I am still confused on the possibility of spiders and mosquitoes carrying
Lyme, can someone chime in on that. Also dose Lyme always cause a perfectly round rash? Thanks so much!

Thank you both so much. It doesn’t feel numb but the bite itself feels hard. I believe I see two marks so I’m guessing they are teethmarks from a spider.

Hi HeartsinPain,

I'm so sorry this happened to you. After I was bit I went to my dermatologist and after examining me he took samples of my strange rash (it was red, then turned purple, all different colors and grew in size). He confirmed that I was bit by a spider (after sending samples of my rash to his lab). He said it was definitely not a tick. Who knew that spiders could transmit lyme? I didn't. But after I did extensive research so many years ago I did read that spiders could transmit lyme bacteria.

That said it doesn't mean you contracted lyme. Just like not all ticks transmit lyme bacteria. Every vector is different and they don't all carry lyme bacteria.

I didn't know back then about detox baths but if I did the first thing I would have done was taken as many detox baths as possible to draw out the toxins. I also would have made a paste from bentonite clay to put on my rash (again, to draw out the toxins).

So I frequently develop bullseye rashes when bitten by a mosquito or even after accidentally smacking a limb against something and bruising. I took a picture once and sent it to my llmd and they said this is common for Lyme patients to get bullseye rashes when an area is aggravated again by a bruise or other bug bite. So getting a new bullseye rash doesn’t necessarily mean you’ve been bitten by a tick snd infected again. It could just be the Lyme flaring there when extra incentive to inflame was added.

Thanks for the picture. That rash looks suspicious to say the least. Are you sure it was a mosquito bite? Just like ticks mosquitoes have the potential to transmit a whole bunch of diseases including but not limited to lyme and other nasty coinfections.

For new tick bites, Stephen typically recommends taking astragalus – 3,000 mg daily for 30 days, 1,000 mg daily thereafter, indefinitely. Also: using a paste made of andrographis tincture mixed with green clay, the paste applied on the tick bite area can often prevent an active infection. See also: recent tick bites.

Thank you so much for the help!! I really appreciate it!! I am what kind of bug it actually was but it almost looks like two teeth marks it the bite itself so possibly a spider? I will give the Andrographis a try, thank you everyone!

The Buhner protocol is a great idea! Is hearts rash considered a bullseye rash even though it's not perfectly round? I wish Doctors would see how bad these bugs are getting, I'm scared to be outside, Hope you are feeling a little better today!

On the astragalus now and am currently feeling fine which is a huge plus! Do you guys feel this is more of a bad reaction to a bite or is it more bacteria of some kind? It’s so hard to know. I’m so thankful to have this group to bounce ideas around! I truly believe the people here know more then most doctors. Thank you all
