Has anyone ever compiled a list of tests to get done to monitor the health of various organs affected by lyme & co? Like liver, heart, kidneys, lungs. A list of what test to have done, how often, etc. I'm sure it is dependent on the areas these diseases are affecting & so will be individual to a degree, but surely someone can recommend what tests to utilize on a somewhat regular basis to track health status.
I have been going to a natural practioner that I'm fairly happy with, but it seems she takes on too many patients, has limited hours & the patients she commits to cannot get appointments in a timely manner. Today the office called to solidify my appointment for next week. If I did not take the appointment they offered they were not going to be able to book me until December!!! 5 months out!! Is that normal?? I haven't gone for care in so long, maybe my expectations are too high.
So I'm considering going back to treating myself again. The only reason I went to this practioner is because I wanted to have my liver enzymes checked & wanted to know if I was missing anything (which I was--EBV, anemia, etc.). If I had a list of tests to run every once in awhile it would be helpful. I don't even know if that is a reasonable idea.
