Hey guys so I know high b6 can indeed be caused by folic acid rather than folate since folic acid it synthetic and can build up in our bodies (when u have the MTHFR gene) that was my only known cause, or like someone said bart. Is there anyway to remove the b6 from our bodies since we arent even taking b6 to begin with?
High B6 can be caused by folic acid intake?I rarely took b supplements back then bt yes, high b6 can be caused by a buildup up of folic acid since it's the synthetic form and if u have the MTHFR gene it will build up and be harder to remove. That's why its important we always take folate instead of folic acid as I just found out. No doc has ever told me this ! I just read about
it with the MTHFR gene. I just ordered b6 real folate (not synthetic folic acid) from Pink Stork (they had 5 star ratings) and apparently a lot of ppl use this brand due to their MTHFR gene and it helped them loads.
