So I promised rainy I’d post about
my experience with pemf. There are a lot of machines out there with various theories attached to them. We ended up getting a machine through dr pawluk since his science made the most sense and he seemed the least sketchy of the vendors trying to sell me on the benefits of pemf.
I started tying it out I guess on Monday of this week and have been working up maybe using it between 15-25 minutes each day. The first day or so was a bit tough with it creating tingling/each and even make a red spot spontaneously appear. But it does seem to be a sort of detoxing like they said it would be since with each successive treatment it’s gone done and my body seems to be less angry at other meds now. It did drop my blood pressure which I expected. But it also made my head feel better (less inflamed) which I did not expect. It did worsen my vision (light sensitivity issues) but I expected that. Oddly when I use the machine it improves my vision, it’s just after I finish by the evening my vision issues are worse. The one other positive thing which I had hoped for but wasn’t certain of, is it seems to make my body feel generally like it just has more stamina. This happened once before when I used the chiropractor’s machine but had not happened the previous 3ish sessions so I wasn’t sure if it was a fluke. I’m happy to report that for me it does not appear to have been a fluke. Also the extreme ting, info has resolved over successive days and I think it became more apparent as time went on that the tingling was more of like a mild joint pain since as it resolved it concentrated more around my joints, especially in fingers.
If you’re reading challenged like me here’s a list of good and bad effects I experienced
Bad
1) itching/tingling like being mildly shocked including breaking out in red spot - resolved with successive uses and seems to have been more of a detox
2) drops blood pressure
3) worsens vision issues
Good
1) improved head inflammation
2) improved stamina
We’re still running it on very low intensity and I haven’t even down a full 30 minutes in one day yet. When we were purchased it we thought it would take 6 months to see positive results, so we’re encouraged by these early effects.
