It's weird as my feet don't hurt in a "pounding athletic sense." It's more of a burning, except for some arthritis in big toes from years of running too high on toes in faster races.
Still waiting on tests I had draws for 11 days ago. Maybe that will answer. But I do what astroman mentioned only using a lacrosse ball.
I had the burning from these infections, I took a wide variety of ABX so its hard to say exactly what I killed off, made HH tea also.
That said, these infections can trigger body pain problems in as much a physical way as a physical injury. Nerves are nerves no matter how they are damaged/inflamed, and inflamed tendons and muscle are inflamed tendons and muscles no matter the cause. So even though killing the critters is the end solution (and a lengthy one) treating this pain like a traditional cause will still help sometimes rather quickly, but only (as you might guess) temporarily.....which is still better than nothing while you wait. Its just creating more blood flow which makes sense why it helps.
I used to go walking barefoot on a beach which is good foot exercise since parts of the foot sink in unlike on hard surfaces. It felt good and moved my foot muscles in different ways.
