Ah finally a thread about
testosterone
I'll keep this short because I'm currently bed bound due to fatigue.
But I strongly suspect your red blood cells are too high.
As you might know, Babesia is an infection of red blood cells.
On HRT and also during "blasts" for competition purposes, many people routinely give blood donations to lower their red blood count. Because testosterone increases red blood cells, a lot actually.
I suspect you're giving Babesia the chance to have more red blood cells available to infect.
However don't give blood donations, as you can pass the Lyme and babs on to recipients of your blood. They don't actually even screen for Lyme when you give blood (yes, it's bad).
What you want to do is:
1. Check your red blood count with a blood test first, I believe it's called Hematocrit, but please double check.
2. Ask your doctor for a therapeutic phlebotomy, this is where they take blood and
discard it for you.Good luck, let me know if you have any more questions.
