Pale stool

This is something I have looked up about a hundred times because it's a symptom that comes and goes for me as well. As with so many things, pale stool can be a harmless variation or a sign of serious illness, making it extra annoying. ;)

Possible reasons for pale stool:
- Fast transit time, including diarrhea from any cause, or loose stools from something dietary (like if you ate a bunch of prunes and beans that made your stool harmlessly loose)
- Dietary factors (carrots, sweet potatoes)
- Supplements (calcium, quercetin, curcumin, bromelain)
- Gallstones or other blockages in the biliary tract
- Low liver function (which can just happen from being overloaded and isn't necessarily alarming unless there's pain, jaundice, etc.)
- Pancreatic insufficiency due to pancreatitis or something gnarly

Don't worry unless it persists for longer than a few days.

Hmm maybe you had a gallstone that has since passed? They often cause pain but not always. Was it about an hour after you ate that the nausea happened? That could explain diarrhea, pale stools, and sudden intense nausea.

I wonder what impact all the very cool work you're doing on your nervous system might be having, like perhaps the vagus nerve misfiring? I'm sure when you're doing such intensive treatment, there's a lot of dynamics to notice and monitor.

Pale stool is not good. I had that when I had hepatitis 50 years ago. I would see your PCP ASAP. Is your urine dark?

No bile secreted by the liver or its being reabsorbed in the intestines. Neither is optimal and should be addressed.
For production , try one or a combo of these glycine, milk thistle, lecithin and or taurine.
Also be sure your getting enough fiber. Whole beans daily can help the combats the reabsorption

No sure if all the bio mechanics, but some reabsorption is normal but main cause for pale is not producing enough. Not reabsorbing will help in triggering your liver to reproduce a fresh batch.

Bile production is a detox function. One of the main ones. Dark poo is good poo.

Yeah very likely liver/gallstones. I’ve struggled with the same ,been doing liver flushes this year and making some amazing progress. Ox bile is very helpful with meals when needed. GCG and chanca piedra are very helpful herbs to take as well. As is drinking lemon water lots

What are the suggested dosages and timing for all of these bile production supplements?
Seems like I never get the dosage right I always end up finding out a year later that I've been taking 1/5 of the amount that I really should have and that's why I didn't see any benefit.

I had that for a couple of months a few years ago, pale ...., And they were floaters. When I googled that it sounded bad, like possibly signs of certain organ failure.

Since it was a few months I went to the Gastro doctor, they did quite a bit of testing. And since I was 50 they also did a full abdominal MRI or CT scan can’t remember which one.

Turned out everything was OK.

What did change the color to more normal , And made them sink was Dr. mercolas gallbladder enzymes. Maybe something was partially blocked but not enough for a conventional medicine test to find it, I don’t know . After I thought I cured it , it came back again slightly and I took that same supplement again, and it went away forever.

Turns out this was related to my eating very high liquid fat meals. I had transitioned back to soup only two days prior and was supplementing w extra fats.

Apparently there’s a mechanism by which if your body has too much liquid fat bile flow gets interrupted. I didn’t catch the full mechanism as my nutritionist explained it quickly, but it stopped as soon as I changed things up.
