Can SIBO cause low cd57 and raise ANA titers?

I don’t know, but I get the feeling a lot of things can lower CD57. Mold exposure lowered mine. Upon removing myself from exposure, it went up again. I think Candida can lower it also.

I don’t know much about ANA.

ANA is anti-nuclear antibody - its usually a sign your body is breaking down enucleated cells and the immune system is therefore seeing stuff that is normally hidden inside the cells nucleus.

i would not expect SIBO to cause this directly - but if it causes auto-immune reactions then they could break down cells in tissue around the body and cause elevated ANA.

lots of people with lyme have positive ANA
if its positive conventional medicine uses it a a general sign there is another problem potentially auto-immune and does a titre t see how much of it there is and what pattern = and also a bunch of auto-immune screening tests looking for auto-immune antibodies - for things like lupus

in lyme they rarely find anything cut and dried
i has high ANA, speckled pattern - no other specific antibodies
occasional other general markers slightly raised - like dsDNA
but no smoking gun.

ANA often fluctuates. Like others, mine did and then normalized. I also had gut issues- almost the whole list.

My CD57 never normalized, even after being "lyme cured". I went down that habit hole vs ignoring it. LLMD's choose to ignore it since they know it can be a never ending rabbit hole.

If you find low protien, low WBC, low globulin's, thats is all proof of immune dysfunction, and you can test in levels far below that too, but thats not what you asked about.
