Wow. So much good information, down the drain.

Wow! I can’t say I’m surprised about anything anymore, as freedom of speech has been violated every way possible. God save us from evil.

I had saved a link to that post in my files. I tried to open it and found No Subject and blank page.

Did anyone happen to save the post in a different format?

IMO, it's also a pertinent topic because chronic Lyme is a comorbidity of Covid, and many of us have to view our Covid risks through the lens of how our immune system would cope with both together.

Whoever did that should be ashamed of themselves.

This is so typical of what is happening these days.

I guess part of me was hoping HealingWell wouldn't drop to that level.
But I was wrong.

I have every comment of the first 8 pages, so I think I'm only missing a handful of comments.

I respectfully disagree with loski’s opinion. This is not about a political party. It’s about the denial of freedom of speech guaranteed to all Americans by the First Amendment of our Constitution. Our founding fathers knew how tyranny operates and set laws in place to protect us from what we are experiencing right now.

The only people who are free right now are the ones in power and those who 100% agreed with everything they say and do. That’s not freedom. That’s tyranny.

Younger folks have no concept of real freedom or what previous generations were willing to sacrifice in order to secure it for us - the generations who came after them.

The idea of hiding in silence for fear of offending someone is precisely how we got to this place of losing our freedom - because clueless people literally gave away their freedom and did so gladly. They were and are happy to comply with the notions of those who suppress freedom.

Garzie’s the one who started the thread about using the drug for immune modulation. He’s the one who started this thread, too.

People get way to worked up about this. Its a private website and folks complain about their freedom of speech. I dont get that. Ive never given healingwell a dime of my money I dont even think Ive clicked on an ad from the site. The site owner doesnt want covid stuff on here. If they did they would start a covid forum.

I haven’t posted much lately but still read regularly to learn from others treatments/experiences.

Threads like this and all the infighting can be upsetting to see. WalkingbyFaith, you have are a really helpful and supportive member so don’t take this the wrong way. But this absolutely is a privately owned website and the owner can do whatever he/she pleases. The text of the first amendment states “Congress shall make no law…” Last time I checked, there is no law passed by Congress regulating HealingWell so the entire first amendment conversation is a moot point. (Not to mention completely irrelevant in the first place to the forum’s many participants from Canada, the UK, Europe, etc). Even if the US Congress for did try to regulate sites like this, the free speech rights at stake would be the owner’s, and not ours.

Everybody is trying to do the best that they can in very confusing times. The internet is both a blessing and a curse. It has allowed the free exchange of ideas outside “official” channels which has been a godsend for Lyme & Co. but has also allowed a lot of misinformation and conspiracy theories to fester which is becoming very damaging to society. It can be hard to tell what’s what and it’s a tough position for someone to have to play an arbiter of truth either way. If the forum owner is willing to host a discussion of Lyme but doesn’t want to get involved in the increasingly ugly war over Covid information/misinformation, I can’t blame them. And I’m still grateful for this forum to learn about others experiences and new ideas about Lyme & Co.

In fact, I've expressed how grateful I am to have you as a mod before. ❤️
I'm just really disappointed with what happened (not with you at all !! ).

It’s probably about add $’s. Can’t be associated w a discussion about ivermectin, could scare the corporate overlords away…I mean the corporate sponsors.

That thread was especially rich in information and insight. And there were many legitimate connections made between IVM's workings in Covid and in Lyme. Politics were kept to an absolute minimum; I can't imagine any halfway reasonable person thinking otherwise.

The part that probably got us into trouble was my mention of the "horse paste" and accompanying dosing information. Because of the unconscionable official disinformation campaign against the use of IVM and other inexpensive early treatments for Covid, many have been forced to get them where they can, in the form they can. Because doctors won't prescribe them and pharmacists won't dispense it, for fear of their licenses. The list of cases where IVM in any form made the difference between life and death is long.

Let me be unapologetically clear. If I do survive this bout of Covid, it will be largely because of the horse paste. I didn't bother seeing a doctor, and certainly stayed away from the hospital, because thanks to the likes of Fauci, early treatment is not on their agenda. I'm better off on my own.

My mention of the horse paste was replete with cautions about its use, how I am not a doctor and it was not medical advice, how people can react differently, etc. And it was followed up later on by a discussion by several of us on the risks of IVM use when the blood-brain barrier is weak. The cautions were there, vital information was there. We are adults.

In today's environment, it only takes one woke complaint or two to send many businessmen running for cover. But it is a shame that so much value can be so easily tossed.

The owner here has every right to run this site as he chooses. And let me be the first to sincerely thank him for all the good he has done by hosting it. But what has been happening, and the way it has been done, is a disrespect to the people who contribute here.
