Had a crisis...went to psych ward with tick borne flare-up here we go again...

Dude and WBF thanks for the words...it was another trip to the psych ward, I guess I'm sorta okay now, but still up and down with a psych med schedule to have to hassle with...they simply don't get it...sometimes I think exercise will cure me.

Hey, I'm glad to hear from you! Originally, I considered that perhaps your computer or phone might have been compromised. That's why I initially tried to call, so I could try to confirm what was happening.

The important thing is you're alive, well (all things considered), and safe. While we don't really know each other, I'm sorry you went through that flare-up and ensuing crisis. I can only imagine how awful it must have been. One thing I do know, however, is that as bad as the regular healthcare system is, the mental health system is worse.

My heartfelt best wishes to you for peace and recovery.

Glad to hear from you!! I was just thinking about you yesterday. I am terribly sorry about your psych flare and trauma.

Just so you’re aware, Dr Mary Ackerley, who is one of the founders of ISEAI, is a psychiatrist. She may be able to help you get better care and get symptoms under better control.

Glad to see you got through this episode. I’m sure it is totally frustrating when answers are so hard to find.

As Dude mentioned, health care here is horrendous. Add in Lyme and it leaves you with nowhere to go. This is my go to place in worst situations. Im pulling for you.
