treatment is the obvious long term solution - but some form of anti-inflammatory may help in the mean time and during
melatonin is a powerful anti-oxidant in high doses - but also a sleep hormone and can have unpredictable results in some people - as indicated above - worth experimenting with others to find something that helps
perhaps Kudzu root, Chinese skullcap, Japanese knotweed, cordyceps - all help reduce inflammation in the brain
