That’s hilarious!!! I actually really enjoyed the fireworks in the neighborhood last night. Some of them were going off practically right over my house. There were others behind us that were visible, too. Not too late at night, though. I feel asleep long before midnight.

I don’t think they would have kept me awake anyway. After I took my hearing aids out, I could barely hear anything, LOL!!!

I enjoy watching them...at a distance.

The ones last night were absolutely the loudest I've ever hear in a non-commercial setting. Many of them sounded like small bombs. They began around 11:00 PM and went until 12:30 AM. Then, a brief reprisal around 1:00 AM for just a few minutes. The windows rattled for some of those big ones.

I feel bad for the older folks in the neighborhood trying to sleep and people with pets. Most dogs and cats get really stressed out. Those ThunderShirts help somewhat, but not completely.

I heard pouring rain and maybe some thunder last night.smile Or maybe it was fireworks, haha. My best guess is thunder though.
