Gut hurbs so bad cannot rake it. I’m taking probiotics but it does not relieve the pain. What can I do? It’s like trapped acid unable to burp or too much acid and maybe some bloating and constipation.

Have you tried Alka Seltzer?
I used Gaviston at one point and it did work.
But my issue was more in the throat/upper GI

I believe I don’t have enough acid, not too much acid . Cannot get the gas moving so I’ll try it out . Can I buy it over the counter ?

Can you try a tsp of baking soda/sodium bicarbonate in warm water?

my thoughts on this are that the gut gets messed up by lyme and co in multiple ways
- direct infection of the cells lining the gut by lyme, bart, chlamydia, mycoplasma etc - leading to gut dysfunction
- microbiome disturbance driven by inflammation from the above, biases the microflora towards unhealth mix
- leaky gut as a result of the above inflammatory drivers
- potentially SIBO too driven by problems with motility - etc
- probably more layers dependent on the individual host immune system and particular infections
as a result i don't think we can effectively target just the gut as a symptom to be addressed - as its being driven by systematic infections - and ultimately i think these need to be treated to get our guts back to normal
that said - both my partner and i have found significant relief from changing to a strict wholefood Ketogenic diet.
she actually started going for a run within a week of changing - so it was a game changer for her.
my gut is not perfect - but is much better than it was prior to changing the way i eat, and even some systemic symptoms reduced - eg fatigue.
it may not be a miracle for you either - but i would still suggest this as the first step - as i tried many many gut oriented treatments, supplements, cleanses and anti-parasite treatments and thinking that with so many gut symptoms i thought must just have dysbiosis, or SIBO or Candida or something - but none of them helped nearly as much as a clean wholefoods ketogenic diet.
