Not Sure about Hydroxychloroquine Reaction or Something Else

Been taking hydroxychloroquine (200 mg) for close to two months. Lately have been feeling so bad it's hard to look at computer screen.

Raised dose to 300 mg the last two days. While I have felt worse with neuropathy, nausea, fatigue and dizziness some befor3e yesterday, the last two days have been beyond anything I've experienced in a long, long time. That also includes severe, and I mean SEVERE depression like I haven't experienced before. That seems to have started, to a lesser degree, before yesterday. Grovers Disease rash/itch has gotten severe.

Dcd experienced some of this (I emailed you, dcd), but I wondered if anyone else has gone through similar. Sjogrens symptoms really raging.

I had severe depression from HCQ after about two weeks on it, and I stopped it because of that. I would take it again if need be, but I would limit the dosage and especially the length of usage. But then a lot of things affect me neurologically/psychologically, which is why I think I have a BBB problem. After a few days off HCQ I was pretty much back to "normal" again.

The depression will take a few days to done down if it's due to HCQ. How's your blood pressure? Have you ever tried blood thinners?

Thanks Paul and Rainy. The depression is still there today, but not as bad. Didn't take hydroxy again today. The big problems right now are dizziness and stomach (nausea). I remember they seem to always happen at the same time, and depression comes with that also.

Looking back, it happened last year, in 2019 and one other time, at least. With Sjogrens Syndrome now established, the Lyme/autoimmune symptoms become more convoluted.
