most LLMD's say rapid relapse after stopping abx is not likely to be lyme - as its replication rate is too slow - takes a good few weeks typically.
so this may be an indication that its actually a co-infection that is driving most symptoms - i think there would be some mileage in trying to find out which it is and then better target that - as drugs for lyme, bart or Babesia are all largely different - or at least a focussed regime for each is different
there are a lot of different approaches to pulsing
some like Dr S P prefers a pretty simple approach of 2 abx eg tetracycline and fluconazole - 2weeks on 2 weeks off and - maybe after a good 4 weeks on initially - then after a while start to increase the weeks off
others like Dr J - have quite sophisticated regimes with several drugs used over a 3-4 weeks cycle
and then also maybe 3 different phases of several cycles each - where the drugs change again - depending on the target -
but typically only taking abx for around 10-12 days a month - eg Monday thru Friday on week one of a cycle and different abx on Monday Weds Friday of week two - then 1week to 10 days off
phases seem to focus on 1st stabilisation, then babesia and then persisters - but always targeting borrelia.
have you incorporated biofilm disrupters into your abx regime?
seems to be gaining momentum with different LLMD's - so its possible that this is the missing element in tough cases
