Working out is great if your body can handle it.
If that is slow walks or weight training will depend on what stage you are in.
By working more on recovery, it will help to increase your chances of being able to train more. Cold showers, ir-sauna, sleep and using a massage gun/foam rollers, help a lot with my training. I have been training 4-6 days a week for a while and have started to increase the frequency of the sessions that are longer, whereas most are shorter with lighter weights at home.
First mountain bike session for the year pretty soon. Will be interesting how that goes as I normally feel worse after one-hour cardio. Doing almost no cardio now, just some very short sprints sometimes.
