Hi I'm new here, with a couple of questions.
Igenex tests just came back.
TBRF positive
Bartonella positive (3 strains+).
Bb IFA >80, but not enough positive bands for Lyme positive.
Bands:
IGM (23+, 41 ind)
IGG (23 ind, 41++, 58+,93 ind)
Primary symptoms: debilitating musculoskeletal pain, worse with activity, pain in soles of both feet, brain fog, trouble falling to sleep, and sometimes blurred vision. Have been to a zillion doctors, PTs etc, with no results. Painkillers make no difference. Doctors suggested Fibromyalgia after other rheumatological problems were ruled out. Thrilled to have finally found a diagnosis. No idea when I got the tick-bite....
Starting on a herbal protocol. Do herbs really do the trick??? Without antibiotics??? I mean I'm happy to not destroy my gut, but am also a bit skeptical....
What is TBRF?? How is it different from Lyme Disease? I have never even heard of it.
Thanks!

Either my current LLMD or my previous LLND told me to count the IND as a positive on the WB tests.
Also Band 23 is positive - that is a Lyme “specific “ band - meaning only Lyme will produce that band.
Plus TBRF is positive - and it’s a coinfection.
With those results - you can be comfortable that treating Lyme is the right thing to do.
