Per Klaire labs site, you should take it with foods. I can't link to the site as they have made it impossible to do so (it's not a simple copy and paste).
The reason some probiotics are taken with food and others without is mostly due to the specific type of probiotic being taken. Some need food to work properly, while some work best without food being in the stomach. I don't know enough of the specifics about each type of probiotic to go into detail. Lol.
