Is it safe to take ubiquinol and malarone together, my coq10 was borderline deficient so dr j put me on this.

I was told not to take Ubiquinol on the days I took Mepron. I took it on my off days.

COQ10 isn't recommended with Atovaquone because it can reduce the absorption and effectiveness of Atovaquone. It doesn't have to do with safety. In your case, it has to do with the effectiveness of malarone.

Did you get your folate levels checked? Proguanil is a folate blocker.
