Just tested positive for Covid, is it safe to continue dr j protocol or antibiotics? Also do people with lyme and covid have anything to worry about in the long run? Does anyone have experience?

I think it’s fine to continue - but maybe you should call the clinic. They can possibly prescribe meds for Covid.

Several months ago - he gave me a script for Ivermectin in case I got it - as I was not vaccinated and wasn’t planning to vax.

Don't take tetracyclines as it weakens the immune response. Most other antibiotics should be okay.

Mepron or malarone has an anti-viral effect and works well for covid.

Thanks so much for that reminder, Quin. My mom was on Tetracycline, and it seems she has been fighting something like the flu in last few days. She's off now though because of apparent herx.

I know of patients at JSC who were Covid positive and told to stop Lyme treatment until after covid, you should call them about this

Definitely call dr J. He told me to call him immediately if I test positive and also to up my ivm.
