Vimzor,
The increase in stem cell production with water fasting is def notable and I know it increases energy. I do periodic fasting by simply consuming my calories during certain hours and find that fairly easy to stay with, but I lean more toward flexibility in most things and don't beat myself up when I veer off any healing course. It's been decades since I've done a water fast.
I was reading about
your adrenal issues in Garzie's post about
sleep and am saddened at the destruction you experienced from oral corticosteroids; I totally agree with you on their use, unless absolutely needed in treating specific diseases. Living the damage from them must be very hard and disheartening.
I think that there are always healing avenues to explore and that we should never cease all efforts in recovering health, although we can't recover the time that we've lost. I understand that having the APH axis off and possibly for life is debilitating, but there are so many things one could try and maybe you've exhausted them, but maybe not.
I may be singing to the choir here and perhaps you've already gone down every available avenue, tried every health hack, but I'd be looking for methods of healing imbalances and regaining lost energy, despite the HPA axis being off; it's off to some degree for all of us with these infections.
There are so many supplements and specific, targeted areas to work on to recover health and vitality. Homeopathy, acupuncture, auto-urine therapy, raw foods for enzymes, Fulvic acid/ Humic minerals to replenish deficiencies, vitamin therapies, DHEA balancing, using sea vegetables for nutritional deficiencies and detox, other green super foods, healing diets, Bee super foods, ATP suppls, and the the list goes on.
Thyroid detox and replenishing with iodine, pineal gland detox, hormone balancing with herbs like maca and pine pollen and specific animal-based glandular suppls, using MSM and other seemingly off-beat suppls to enhance metabolism, mitochondrial repair, balancing neurotransmitters with 5 HTP, Dopamine bean, taurine, tyryptophan, and other natural suppls, NADH and other energy hacks, bioresonance and the new energy enhanced suppls.
Maybe look into the KPU / HPU connection with these microbial invaders we host. There has to be a key, somewhere, some stone yet to overturn to regain balance and health. Detox is always key. Detoxing out the furin enzyme is an interesting area to research.
There are so many new advancements in cellular repair and detox that I can't stop researching and learning; this forum is a hopeful new source of info for me as a newbie here.
It seems that there are more areas of advancements in health than we can possibly research and so many biohacks to explore - and they needn't be out-of-reach costly.
Pls pardon any overstep, but I read some despair in your comments about
adrenal insufficiency and we Lymies can't give up. For me, at 65 and battling the invaders again after having recovered to 90%, I'm again using the herbals and suppls that worked before and jumping down rabbit holes to find the way back to health, even if I have to claw my way back, again. I've another grandchild on the way and intend to hold my great grandchildren; I'll never willingly surrender to decline, this life is too way too sweet.
I wish you hope in your healing journey.
