yep - many people here do
several LLMD's suggest it as a matter of course for Lyme patients
i found a useful step forward in my health when i changed to a paleo style of eating - no grains, no processed food at all (so gluten free by default)
and another useful step forward and actually started my recovery only after switching to a wholefood ketogenic diet - no grains - and very little carbs at all
it doesn't work for everyone - but it does for many - my ex went from pretty much housebound to running 2.5miles within a week of changing to a ketogenic diet - and went on to make a recovery - it was amazing to see.
i was very much opposed to it - but that convinced me i had to try it - and although it wasn't quite as amazing for me - i was more physically ill than she was - and it was still the single biggest thing i did that has helped the most.
i think there are people who tell themselves it wont work for them because they really don't want to give up the carb laden foods they enjoy - i don't look at it like that - i look at it as choosing to improve my health and enjoy my life more ( not less)
