Quinine ?

So why is it that when I started taking quinine this week it is the only thing I have felt a herx from ?

I have taking high dose Rifampicin, minocycline, Alina, tinidazole, doxycycline, dapsone .

Definitely think I have babesia but tested negative via quest .

Don’t know, but are you fully aware of the side effects of quinine? My dad had malaria as a child and was given quinine. He had tinnitus from then on. It was pretty bad and would about drive him crazy.

testing for Babesia is notoriously problematic - hundreds of species / strains in the wild - only 1 or 2 tested for in lab serological tests

Have you tried Mepron or Malarone for Babesia ?
