Girlie can you elaborate on the Persister protocol? Im currently reading Horowitzs book now and I think hes talking about
a similar protocol?
Weve been sick for years and have only really tried a few weird protocols. Im currently also reading the Buhner protocol. Im not sure which one to try next. Were waiting for symptoms to improve via iv therapy and ozone therapy. While we wait to start those therapies im learning about
the two protocols and then will try to find a doc to do one of them. Its hard because there are few lyme doctors that I have found in OC California. Having a protocol I want to try will help me find a new doctor. Should I ensure the new doc is aware of the dapsone protocol? Our current lyme doc seems to only do herbal but every time we try herbals the herxing is too intense

Was around the time you took dapsone the turning point for you girlie? When did you notice that turning point?
Previously I had improved a lot with a LLND - that was 2014 to 2016… but plateaued.
He wasn’t authorized to prescribe Mepron for Babesia.
2017 I was without a Lyme doc.
I was concerned that I needed to treat Babs - got some Malarone from ADC and self treated for a year.
Still not feeling good enough, I decided to go to Dr J.
He had me on Mepron plus abx for approx 5 months.
Then the Bart/Persisters protocol approx 6-7 months.
That was when I took the Dapsone.
After that was when I felt that life was returning to more “normal”
Then I went on maintenance - and many months on it - I felt like I was ready to consider going back to work.
I would say the Persisters protocol (that included dapsone) was the turning point.
