This was the first question but not the last.....
It would really be cool to have the possibility of having a few stickies here of course 90% of them being health related and then one just for general BS’ing. At this point I’m guessing this forum is just like an old car that’s used up all its miles it’s eventually dying.
That said here’s the question. For those of you that live in cold climates, the high today here was 10 F here. Oh and that’s nothing compared to what’s coming in early February.
There are a few people in this cold climate area that wear shorts , Even when it’s this cold.
Yes I seen it today, two middle-aged guys Wearing just below the knee cargo shorts outside. The windchill today was -10 F this morning. Middle-aged guys, they’re not teens trying to act cool,( no pun intended with the cool).
That totally blows my mind because normal people could get frostbite really easy on their exposed legs.
In the past, I have frostbitten my ears and my face around some goggles, I looked like a raccoon for three weeks.
**I wonder if there’s some odd genetic thing with people who can do this, I don’t find this normal at all!!! **

Note: When my thyroid levels are in line I can do things without gloves outside a lot longer than if thyroid is out of whack. There is a certain time limit though, And I need to be moving, It’s not a very long time.
