Is this forum power heavy for your phone?

Just wondering if it’s my phone. It can take 5% of the battery to respond to a post. And a little more than 5% to actually make a new post like this.

It’s 19% now.

its not the forum - its the battery getting old most likely - they hold less and less charge the more cycles they do - and have a life of around 500 cycles max.

as they get old the cold temperatures start to cause them issues also - suddenly loosing charge % and phone restarting

the screen is the thing that uses the battery more than anything else - doesn't matter so much what you are looking at

if its having rouble finding wifi or mobile data signal it will tend to automatically boost the signal power - so that can put an extra draw on the battery also

Yeah it’s an older phone about five years old. I’ve never bought a modern phone, always get handy downs from someone else who likes more modern ones.

Battery only has 87% capacity left, and that’s if it were full charged.

I only get two out of four bars at home so not the best connection either, that might draw more power.

I don’t leave any apps on.
