Nystatin oral question?

Sorry if this is not the right place.
My history is that as a child I had 5-6 courses of antibiotics a year, amoxicillin until that stopped working. Now I have thrush non-stop and the only success I’ve had is with fluconazole and a lower carb diet. I’d imagine Candida at this point is playing a big role. Done a lot of parasite medications and had some progress. Unfortunately I can’t afford the testing requires to diagnose EVERYTHING right now. Anyways, I’m interested in trying oral nystatin powder so would anyone know an overseas pharmacy source for getting the powder!? I have used overseas pharmacies for years but have never come across nystatin on these. Feel free to PM me a source and I’d really appreciate it! I have fluconazole coming as I’ve been off it for about a month (was only on 1-200mg) and my symptoms are coming raging back. I am not sure if I have Lyme or anything related, I do have 2 cats and have definitely had success with anti-parasitic over the last year. I am almost certain with my severe thrush and white tongue and constant sinus issues mold/Candida are certainly at play.

I don't know about getting the powder, but Inhouse Pharmacy sells nystatin pills.

I've also found that atovaquone works well for mold, but that may be harder to get.

Thanks a lot looks like a good nystatin source. I’ll read up on atovaquone never heard of it!

Atovaquone is commonly known as Mepron or Wellvone. It's approved for treatment of pneumocystis, but I find it works on bunch of other fungi/mold too. Unfortunately it tends to be a lot more pricey than fluconazole or nystatin.

yep - pricey - i have not been able to find an affordable source for atovaquone on its own - only as a combination - as in Malarone

please do post up any low cost sources if you have them

just a note to say that with 2 cats and "symptoms raging back" after stopping fluconazole - the index of suspicion of bartonella should be high, which also has a lot of symptoms overlap with mold,

azole antifungals were found to be more effective than traditional antibiotics for treating bartonella cultures in-vitro in a recent study from johns hopkins university - and many LLMDs are using it to treat bartonella now - typically combined with other bart drugs - and / or - other adjuncts like oil of oregano, methylene blue etc

Hello, Georgiee - welcome to the forum. It’s possible (likely?) that you have Bartonella.
