Red Streaks/Rash on Body that is Painful and Quickly Disappears

With all the rash symptoms in last six months, a new one has developed.

Happens on an arm, leg or both arms and legs. Appears quickly with streaks, burns, then fades within 30 minutes. Usually in late afternoon. Looks like Bart streaks. But they disappear quickly, though the spotty rash I’ve had for months is always there. Also, hands get very red when the streaks happen.

Anyone have this happen before?

pictures would defo help

but, in general, any linear red marks / rash - are very likely caused by Bart

i am not a fan of facebook - but the "breaking down bartonella" facebook group has quite an array of different skin manifestations - not just the typical steaks

the red hands thing could also fit - as bart disrupts the circulation - often in unpredictable ways or randomly for short periods of time

Hey Garzie - I still have not mastered the code for posting a picture. Every time I try, I screw something up.

I don't think it is a coincidence that things are getting worse with rash and the new symptoms as pollen level in Atlanta area has started to go crazy. Yesterday it was about ,1700 and today its 3,900. Trees are blooming, so anything over 1,500 for tree pollen is considered "extreme"

Haven't seen where MCAS do the streaks, which is what I have been thinking may be happening, along with the Sjogren's symptoms. But the red streaks have been building for about a week now. They usually hit and cause pain, then are gone, as mentioned.

Recently is the first time I've gotten any type of streak look, but, again, they disappear fast. Thanks for your response.

to post a picture is actually v simple - just 2 steps really

step 1
just go to this site https://imgbb.com/upload

then drag your image to the box where it says "drag and drop here" - there is a picture of a cloud shape with a white arrow in it (or click the link where it says "You can also browse from your computer" (or phone) manually)

then click upload - to upload your image to that site
(that site will then provide you with a unique url/link for your image)

step 2
then copy and paste the url/link that website gives you into your post here on the forum
( it will give you the form of URL you need complete with the code needed to display it properly on the forum)

Thanks. I'll try it if it happens again today. Skin is always painful now so ti will probably happen.
