yep - i have seen it also
i think Lindner is on the right track - B. Odocoilei from deer is likely the driver - deer populations have exploded in the USA over the last few decades

Great to see more awareness is happening with Lyme and co-infections. The only thing I would also stress is the emphasis should be on more than the northeast. I live in the south, and unless I was bitten while playing golf once in Boston many years ago, chances are huge that Babesia must have originated in the south with me.
That is unless it started when I was a child living summers in Wyoming and Utah and University of Wyoming and Utah State University. But that was 30 years before I showed any Lyme symptoms.

The tick that bit me and was the beginning of my chronic illness happened in Lebanon, TN. This is right in Middle Tennessee all the way back in 2015. Tick borne diseases must have been spreading for some time now.
I freaking agree it's great that more awareness is coming about
. I'm sure the year after I kick the bucket they will have figured all this tick borne illnesses out and it will be medical consensus. :P
