I'd be careful about lemon water, due to its effect on tooth enamel. If drinking it, maybe use a straw and then rinse the mouth with water. Don't brush immediately after drinking lemon water, though. Just rinse real good with water and wait 30-60+ minutes before brushing.
As for sodium, I don't know how many people really need more sodium/salt. I see people on "health" blogs/forums talking in a similar way about fat. "You need to up your good fat." Of course, fat is essential. But, most people already eat plenty of fat (and overall calories) and are storing an excess of it.
Whether sodium/salt, fat, or anything else, more isn't always better. Money might be an exception, but I wouldn't know about that, unfortunately.
