We use methylene blue (MB) in the dapsone protocol to help lower methemoglobin levels and to help kill Bartonella (when combined with Zithromax, rifampin). Dapsone and rifampin, both have been shown to have an effect on borrelial biofilms, as per a study with did with Dr Eva Sapi's group from the Univ of New Haven.

Now it appears MB may have other effects, apart from helping with mitochondrial regeneration ("MB can reroute electrons in the mitochondrial electron transfer chain directly from NADH to cytochrome c, increasing the activity of complex IV and effectively promoting mitochondrial activity while mitigating oxidative stress.) MB has now been published to have an effect on biofilms!
Can anyone figure out the dosage of MB that was used?
