I haven't posted in a while. Back in 1995 got bit by tick life hasn't been the same. I've done all kinds of treatments. Antibiotics, herbal, bee venom therapy. I've never got rid of infections. Maybe reduced the load a little now I don't know what to do. I've been seeing a NP who is suppose to know something about Lyme. We have been working on my gut. I see her again next wk. I told her I definitely need something for Bart, she said she had Bart as a kid. My feet are killing me I think I'm getting bunions, taller bunions. The whole bottom of my feet, hurt

may be just circulation to lower extremities? have you tried horse chestnut? maybe its just oxalates or gluten ? idk it's probably bart . bart is one persistent sob gram neg double cell wall bugger ! i like frankensense and thieves rubbed into my cbd for some temporary relief . keep us posted

I'm sorry to hear that you are struggling still. These are stubborn, complicated illnesses! When people have tried all the usual things with no success for Bartonella, I wonder if mold exposure could be part of the picture, as the symptoms can be indistinguishable. The book Toxic by Neil Nathan might have some ideas for routes to try if you have not read that one yet.

I found bart and mold symptoms quite distinguishable. Bartonella caused dark urine (bilirubin), a distinctive rash, stomach problems, and smelled like ammonia and asparagus. Mold caused allergy like symptoms, smelled like brie or camembert, and sometimes caused itchy skin, but not a visible rash like bartonella.

I was able to eliminate bartonella with antibiotics, and the die off caused a distinctive herxheimer reaction. Mold is ever present in the environment, but symptoms come and go. When it bothers me, I take antifungals and it goes away without any noticeable herx.
