I had a panel of bloodwork done back in Dec. 2021 (because I was still looking for “the smoking gun” as to why I had this rash episode from earlier that March)…And I hate to open this “can of worms” (pun intended)…I was looking for my dr to analyze my bloodwork and tell me something that I could work with in treatment…I just noticed that he missed something that could have been very helpful.
My Eosinophils Relative & Basophils Relative were both high…maybe not crazy high but still past normal range. I think my dr said that he wasn’t concerned about it because my body was trying to fight off this rash on my hands.
I did some research into both of those and found that they can be related to parasites.

…Anyway I think what I’m trying to say is that once again I have been disillusioned & disappointed by my drs…this dr never had me tested for Lyme (I actually had to ask for a Lyme test after this initial panel of blood work!) And that was the wrong test apparently & was negative…And I guess we all know it’s not usually their “protocol” to check for parasites.
Maybe this can help someone…if you get bloodwork done to look at those numbers…Its not always clear in the “here and now” but a lot of times it’s “hindsight.”
I could have been treating myself for parasites & Lyme over a year ago…there’s that “hindsight.”
I know there’s a reason for everything we go through so I’m trying not to be bitter…I’m just thankful that I’m finding this all out now and not later…and I’m thankful for all of you on this board with your insight, love & support.❤️
