Low back pain - prostate - herxing

is it an all or nothing situation?

i reacted pretty strongly to most things for bartonella

i had to start low and gradually work up at a rate i could tolerate
i tended to step my doses up in v small increments - no more than 10% a week - slower if i was reacting strongly - just waiting for the herx reactions to settle down before stepping again

i had to do it this way as i live on my own and needed to be able to look after myself on an ongoing basis - make food, shop clean etc so being out of action with unmanageable herx was not an option

so it took some months to reach target doses but was still effective

Have you tried treating MCAS with an antihistamine like Zyrtec?

I frequently get bladder and UTI symptoms without evidence of infection. I have found that taking 1/4-1/2 tablet of Zyrtec daily or every 12 hours during a flare usually stops it. Zyrtec is typically well tolerated. If you are not currently taking any antihistamines, I would suggest doing a 2 week trial and see if you feel less inflamed and less pain.

So today I took one allicin and one hh and then repeated that 3-4 hours later because I seemed to tolerate it well.

Apparently not.

Do some here take small herbal doses only once a day?
