I lift weights in general 4 times a week, and during mountain bike season I get about
1 hour of biking per week. No mountainbike during the winter.
I have been trying to increase cardio and have done slower and easier but longer mountain bike sessions and also added some slower indoor biking. When I have been doing a bit more, say about
2 hours a week I have had detox symptoms and feeling a bit worse but not much.
But when testing interval training twice before I have been feeling quite bad and have had to back off.
On Monday last week, I tested a third time and did interval training shortly after breakfast, and still went to the gym later in the day and finished off with some light cardio.
That night I felt awful and I thought first that I was sick with a cold/flu, then I had days with a lot of pushing of toxins, and on Sunday last week, I realized that I have problems with acid reflux, which I had twice before.
I'm definitely very sensitive to some foods and have reduced/removed a lot like coffee, carbonated water, tomatoes, chili, etc.
Our bed is already raised a bit with books at the back since earlier issues, but I added a pillow below the mattress to get it a bit higher for my head.
Bicarbonate worked well before, but not now, so I'm testing with apple cider vinegar instead.
Quercetin seems to help some so I take two per day instead of only one.
Started with warm water and thyme as tea, that helps some.
When I thought I was sick I was lying in bed a lot quite soon after eating, so have stopped with that. Only lie down at night.
My body just seems to be very sensitive for the moment, and I cough a lot and cough up mucus.
Stress was quite bad the week before this because of work, so it doesn’t really help
Any ideas, more than just waiting it out and delaying more cardio to the future when Im further along in getting well?
