US prescription drug price increase article

The Yahoo comments on this article were the most interesting. People giving their experiences of comparing drug prices in the US and then in a foreign country they’re visiting and buying them there. huge absolutely gigantic difference in price.

Corporations are trying to bankrupt American citizens, and are actually doing that. I understand profits but this kind of breed is just morally wrong.

The way things are going in America, if I were younger, I think I would seriously think of leaving the country. There really isn’t very many awesome places to go though. Maybe another planet?

I had a post similar to this last year.

In that post, we ventured off into Mark Cuban’s cost plus drugs, online pharmaceutical company.

They have a lot of the regular drugs and some cheaper diabetic drugs, which is what got him started on this.

They’re not so popular, more specialty drugs and newer, expensive ones they do not have yet. Hopefully someday they will.

None? I disagree.

As you are aware,…Lyme can affect the entire body. Many people develop auto immune issues from it. If you have not consider yourself lucky.

There are people here who take meds besides abx. My llmd Rx’ed many for lyme patients.

The thought was to support certain body systems that were malfunctioning, in addition to killing the bacteria.

Just killing the bacteria alone is overly stressful for the body at times, and can take forever.

My autoimmune thyroid med (it’s physically damaged beyond healing) is six times as expensive now as it was five years ago. And it’s considered a generic competing with the armor namebrand which is eight times as expensive as it was five years ago.

Not everything has a dirt cheap generic to use yet. Hopefully Mark Cuban will change that with his online pharmaceutical business. Then again, if there’s not not much demand for something, he might not venture into it. Time will tell.
