Is there any significance in having a Band that comes up +++ (triple positive/sensitive)?
The clinic where I had this test done said that was a 1st for them......

Does it reflect upon the extent/quantity of my Borrelia infection (do I have A LOT of it?) ??

Any input is appreciated!

It’s really hard to correlate antibody testing with infection load.

Positives can often persist post treatment too.

Unfortunately having one .+ or three +++ doesn’t indicate extent/quantity of your infection.
It’s not a gauge that is used.

as above, its just a measure of how many antibodies the body was making to that particular protein at the point it was tested

this is not correlated with severity of infection - its just what your immune system was doing at that snapshot in time

you could test in a month or so's time and have few of that particular antibody - but lots of another one

You may already know this, but Igenex now has a lyme culture test. It is the gold standard. If they can grow spirochetes from a sample of your blood, then you have it. No questions asked.
