I'm having a bad time actually, I'm currently blaming the coming solar eclipse on my super sick state right now. I was scheduled to see a prospective new Lyme doc on the day of the eclipse but just rescheduled in case my whacky theory is right and I'll be super sick. I do know I am often ill with weather changes and apparently solar eclipses cause thunderstorms to form and winds to suddenly change direction.

As far as Jemsek, I haven't heard anything more than you all. I rely on a Lyme friend who sort of admins a local lyme group and seems to be in the know about everything. I don't think think she's heard anything either. She's scrambling to find new lyme docs for her family and helping all the desperate people like me at the same time. Mostly there's a lot of reports coming back from various people about how likely such and such a lyme doc is to continue giving you scripts for the meds Jemsek had us on. I wish I had better news.

“I was only on mino for two days, it basically filled my head with suicidal thoughts 24/7. My brain essentially went into delete yourself mode. I kind of want to try it again at some point because I believe that was a VERY powerful herxheimer reaction for the bartonella I’m dealing with. I mainly deal with neuro symptoms like depression, anxiety, ocd, fear, feelings of doom, bipolar, and emotional problems. I still have lingering chronic fatigue and recently in the last few years MCAS.

That list of side effects has me second guessing it. I’m so scared to try anything anymore besides herbs, how do y’all do it?”

What I was getting at - that most antibiotics have a side effects list that is very long -

Thanks for the update Bailey. Changes in weather does weird things to me too, but it always has, even before Lyme. I wonder when we will get an official update from that clinic. Very strange!
