It did this from Friday 9:30 AM until early Saturday morning 1:30 AM when it finally worked just before I went to bed.

And just right now, it said connection, problem, or failure or something like that.

No one else has mentioned this?

This happened repeatedly on my phone and a computer in a different location. Wi-Fi or regular signal, did not matter.

yep - its been flaking out a lot with server errors yesterday and today - seems to be more or less working properly again now

Ah ha…… so was obviously not a regional thing either.

(Didn’t matter what side of the big pond you were on)

I was thinking, maybe they finally “shut it off”, forever…….

What other sites/forums do you recommend for lyme info, if healingwell is shut down?

Wasn’t there a post last year with another destination to meet up, should this place be Shut down?

I can’t even remember the one that I originally came from about nine years ago. I think I got shut down.

The few other ones I’ve looked at are about as dead as this place.

I’ll say it once again, you cannot carry on a conversation with something that is Facebook based. You cannot split it into any organized manner. And your blasted with ads.

I belong to a couple of outdoor sports type groups associations that dropped their forum in favor of Facebook because it was much easier for them to announce events. You know what ?- nobody carries on a conversation about anything there anymore. It’s simple announcements with one or two Comments before it just gets lost. There is no longer any member interaction. How people think this is better I have no idea.

i am with you on that Astro

Facebook/Meta - went chasing the algorithm driven model when they saw Tik-Tok taking a big chunk of their audience away - and i think they are now lost with no way back to the social trust network model

ref back up options for members here - i think we should have a sticky listing a meeting location online - in case it is lost

of coarse - that will be lost too - but people can take a note of it and save it locally in the meantime so if the worst were to happen we could re-convene online again

Traveller has a quiet little forum someone linked to before

i would suggest Phoenix Rising - is a modern forum that allows attachments, quotes etc is well run and stable - and has sub forum for lyme - so that would be a good choice also ( i am on there as Garz )

Girlie - can you help with a sticky? - i don't think they ever sorted out my moderator privileges
