i posted a link to this some way down in one of the other threads - but thought i would post it in its own thread here for those that didn't see it
Bill Rawls discusses dormant microbes causing chronic illness (in Lyme disease)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uolxfbs74ew&t=403she talks about
recent research that shows even our blood and internal organs have a microbiome and contains many different dormant microbes which are extremely hard to eradicate as they are in such a low metabolic state they are not taking things in from the environment - like antibiotics.
overall i found the concepts and context he describes quite useful - ie what is Lyme disease
(as it differs from what many people think it is)
but bear in mind he is a firm believer in Herbs for treating Lyme disease - and is against using antibiotics.
however, there are quite a few members here who have tried herbs extensively without success - so i think that may be a little optimistic
still its useful and indeed important to take in and synthesize a variety of options.
