Positive Lyme Reflex - Negative Igg/igm?

Hello! I’m new to seeking a Lyme diagnosis and could use some advice.

For several months now, Ive been having TMJ symptoms, pain that shows up in my neck, back, sometimes wrists and vision changes (blurry, visual snow).

I got tested for Lyme, and my results had a positive Lyme with reflex test but negative IgG/IgM test. My PCP prescribed 21 days of Doxy but I am terrified of taking it because I’m having headaches and digestive issues from the muscle relaxers I am also taking.

Does anyone have advice before I take the Doxy? Should I hold off until I can find an LLMD?

i would start the doxy - while looking for a LLMD

in general we have been bombarded by advice from functional doctors and health gurus about antibiotics being the worst thing you can do to you gut - and have created a lot of fear around them

but lyme is a serious illness that can have very serious consequences if not treated - and in truth lyme and co messes up your gut anyway - so you have little to lose -

i had been taken in by all of this gut guru messaging - and was very reluctant to take antibiotics - but my gut actually improved a little after antibiotics vs before
