I have not done my full research. This is just a heads up for anyone interested.
ANI Thyroid tablets.
Like the other pig thyroid desiccated tablets that are currently available and the many brands available in the past, they all have the same amount of T3 and T4 in them. You can’t change that, it’s what pigs have.
The fillers used in pig thyroid Medication is what the differences among the brand names.
—————-
From 2021 up to 2023 year there were only two Pig thyroid brands in the USA:
1)the long-standing armor brand which keeps on getting more and more expensive, every time it gets purchased by a larger company.
2) NP thyroid, which was somewhat of a generic and low price leader six years ago is now getting greedy and is Still more affordable than armor, but it has doubled in price in the last two years.

2023-2024, Two new offerings :
1) Adthyza thyroid. The beginning of last year seen one new company that was just the same pig thyroid, but they marketed themselves to the upper class people. Rich people sometimes buy the more expensive product regardless of researching it, this product is not necessarily better than armor or NP but costs more than both of them. It’s a designer brand and it’s marketed that way.
2) ANI , Which is what this post is about
. In February came another new pharmaceutical company which offers pig thyroid as well. This is more or less the generic today.
ANI usp thyroid tablets.
They offer one half grain as well as one grain and one and a half grain. Odd
location for a pharmaceutical company. They are in what used to be the iron mining range of northern Minnesota.
I just came across this today so I have not researched at all, but I will be doing so the next few weeks as there’s a little known about
it.
Their website even tells you to look for a price discount from them on GoodRx at Walgreens and Walmart. I did just that and it is about
1/3 price less than my NP thyroid.

So I am interested in hearing more about
this brand. So far I have not seen this brand mentioned on the three leading online “thyroid experts”. Mary Shamon, Thyroid pharmacist doctor Isabella Wentz, dr. Weston Childs.
If I don’t find any information on this new med on either of their websites, I will personally contact them like I have in the past. The websites are basically their businesses which of course they try to sell you videos, information, etc. This does not necessarily make them complete experts, although they certainly look like it which is the idea behind it all.
Then there is the lady who owns the stop Thyroid madness website, and she is taking a temporary leave, which has been going on for the last couple of years.
——————-
As of now, there are zero widely used thyroid forums online anymore. The few that there were went down in use and several new Facebook groups rose out of the ashes. Unfortunately, little Facebook groups are never as good as several leading forums with all the information you would ever need. the thyroid for here is completely dead. I was the last one that commented on it a year ago let that sink in, one year. !
