Andrographis underated?

hey,
i always took androgrphais but not really high doses, because i thought babesia is my main problem, and crytpo, sida should work better. But i found some powder of it these weeks, and just drink some teespone 2,3 times a day of it. (i didnt realised that the dosage is way to high) Anyway, i felt like crap, so i guess i had some crazy herx... And i start reading about it, its not just for borrelia. It also anti parasite and hits babesia too.
So i backed down to 6gr a day, and hope after the herx i can go up.
What are your expierence with andro?

what dosage are you taking? i started to feel something after i went up to 8gr.

i used it for a few years - in tablet form - i think i worked up to 3x 400mg tablets 4x a day ( buhner's recommended dose i think) - its was one of the brands he used to recommend

the tablets are standardises to 10% andographolides - which may make them more potent than unstandardized forms - like powdered bulk herb

unfortunately - i don't think they helped me much as an antimicrobial - although we can never know what the counter factual might have been - ie would i have been more sick if i hadn't taken it

i did find they were quite a good anti-inflammatory for the CNS and helped reduce my constant headache - so i stayed on them a long time - but my overall health and fatigue did not improve while on them

it is also quite a strong bile stimulant - which can be good for helping the liver detox and improving digestion
