migraines and inderal

iva always had migraines on and off since i was little. only every few months and imitrex always worked. since before christmas i have had a constant migraine, its been incompacitating and i have been to the hospital 3 times. the tryptans havent worked and im on a pain med that barely helps. my neuro just put me on inderal and i have a few questions if anyone can help.

how long does it take to start working?

so you have any side effects?

is anyone on any psych meds as well as inderal and if so have you had any interraction?

how well does it work for you?

Hi, i was on inderal for awhile. It took maybe 3 o weeks to start noticing anything. I didn't have too many side effects other than lower blood pressure, if i exercised I would get tired really quick and that was about it. I didn't take any other meds with it though so I can't help you with that. I stopped taking it though because it wasn't helping me enough though, but i did notice a different. But some people it has helped a lot!! So I hope it works for you!!! Give it some time!!

ive been on it almost 2 weeks now and im already improving. i wake up without a migraine but it comes back late in the day or earlier if i do too much. but heck, ill take it, the pain was unbearable. plus its helping with my tremors so thats a plus. thanks for the warning about the blood pressure.
