Repeated Migraines

Hi, I have migraines 2-3 a week sometimes daily. Can repeated migraines cause any brain damage? I've read a couple articiles that it can, but was wondering if any of your doctors have said anything about it. I take midrin, execdrin migraine, sometimes muslce relaxers when needed for neck pain.

I think you would be better to ask your Neurologist this question. I do wonder myself if repeated headaches do you much good. There will always be someone who has an angle on this and it can cause unnecessary worry to those who read the articles.

Please talk to your Neuro about this.

The only way I can see a migraine causing brain damage is if you get a stroke from a migraine. I've never heard of migraines causing brain damage and I get them all the time and have only gotten smarter. I wouldn't worry about it if I were you. I hope you find out the cause of your migraines soon and get better. Good Luck.
