Bad headaches!

I assume you have been to see a doctor since you mentioned you just had a CT Scan, have you shared with the doctor who is treating you that you have a family history of aneurysm and subarachnoid hemorrhage? What are his/her thoughts on that? Oh, and let us know the results of you CT Scan.

I will tell you that I am in the same type of situation with migraines starting or becoming worse after an automobile accident...I had what I call "normal people migraines" before and after the accident they progressive got worse and turned into horrible monsters that can be almost daily!

I can say that by your symptoms they can be, as you call it "a normal migraine" I didn't see anything that seemed to be out of the realm of migraine symptoms. I would still voice your concerns with your doctor and make sure to share family history whether they ask you for it or not!!!

i'm one of the headache sufferers just like you'll.

for the past 5 months i've been suffering daily headaches along with pain neck, pressure all over my head, weak, dizzy and fatigue and most of all the pain that wouldnt go away no matter how much med i'd take. i had a ct scan done on December and thank god everything came out to be allright. My neurologyst diagnosed me with tension headaches caused by many things such as work pressure and if you suffer from anxiety that makes it worst. He recommended me to slow down on my work and home life. I used to be a person that wanted to do everything fast and right, and used to worry about everything. Now i'm living one day at a time and try not to worry about things anymore. I try to do my best at work, but without feeling pressure, at home i'm trying to be more organized and for the rest i just think that if something has to be done i just will do it when is time to do it. I also try to relax when i take a bath I take my time and light some candles and listen to some soft music, and also try to avoid some foods that can trigger headaches such as chocolates, caffeine, smoked meats or fish, and foods that have too much spices and preservatives I also try to excersise a bit everyday. All this and god's help have helped me a lot, i get headaches now and then but there are not that strong as they used to be and the best part is that i don't have to take that many pills anymore (I used to take 3 butalbital pills daily now i only take 1 pill whenever i get a headache.) so my friends i wish you'll good luck and i hope my experience be of some sort of comfort for any of you that might feel that there is no relief. take care of yourselves and don't forget that i'll be praying for u all. bye...
