Hi,
I've been suffering with Migranes for a good few years now. And thats all it was before.
But recently the migranes have stopped. I mean it's been a long time since that blur has turned up in my eye and given me 4-5 hours of excrusiating pain.
However, it has left me with a pressure in my head that just wont go away, Nausia, Shooting pain in my head, i can now see my blind spot with both eyes open (that one particularly freaked me out), my vision can blur sometimes, others i just feel like it's effort too see, and not one of those things where it's like eye strain, it's just effort to use my vision. Like i wish there was an off button? (obviously an on button aswell i'm not going to wish for blindness)
when i move my head to look toward the ground it get a sudden pain in my head. Sometimes everything feels like, it's not real. Like i can see things, but it feels weird. I can't even explain the feelings :') I feel almost like i'm dreaming although i'm fully aware that i'm not.
I get pain behind my eye sometimes. I am very sensetive to light, now i can't say my diet is great. I eat pretty much crap. I'm 19 years old though :') What 19 year old doesn't eat anything he see's, right?
I use my computer alot, i work in IT, my qualification are IT, i use my computer at home. But i might mention i also have UV protection classes and anti glare. Specifically designed to releive strain from constant computer usage (not that it helps much) occationally, well rarely. but it happens, i have nights where i can't sleep. I just can't get comfortable and when i drift off i feel although i'm about to take off :') I guess the only way to describe it is. Like my souls about to leave my body and everything is just going to stop unless i wake up. (yes that sounds crazy, it's nothing but a description) anyway, enough of my rant. I'm kind of straying away from the subject here. My GP threw me on Propanolol which helped the migranes. But i think they've stopped on there own. I just feel like my heads building up now. almost like it needs a migrane to releave all that pressure. Obviously that isn't the case, but i'm sure you understand what i mean.
can someone help me please? I just need a point in the right direction, my GP just isn't really doing anything other than throwing more medication in my direction. Which is clearly not what i need.
